Professional baking results from the heart of Småland

The baking steel's fantastic ability to store heat is the key to taking your baking to new heights, and with the baking paddle, you have the ideal set. The explosive heat from the baking steel allows you to bake bread with a higher moisture content, giving you a juicier crumb and crispier crust. The baking steel and baking paddle are produced in Sweden with over 100 years of proud craftsmanship tradition, so you get quality products in your kitchen that are made to last a lifetime.

When you receive the baking steel, it is ready to use right away, as it has been pre-seasoned with vegetable oils that provide natural non-stick and rust protection. The practical handle makes the heavy baking tray easier to handle, both when taking it in and out of the oven and when wiping it down and putting it away. With its versatile size of 37 x 33 cm, the baking tray fits the rack in most ovens.

The baking peel is an absolutely essential tool for your baking steel. Avoid burning your fingers or ruining the shape of your dough when moving your pizza, baguette or buns in and out of the oven. You know exactly how much space you have for baking, because the baking peel is designed to fit our baking steel perfectly. In addition, the practical bend makes the baking peel comfortable to hold and easier to handle, even with one hand.

The baking steel is made of 6 mm Swedish carbon steel, laser-cut and sandblasted. At the workshop in Småland, it is sprayed with vegetable oils and seasoned in a vertical oven. This allows you to use the baking steel right away - unlike other baking steels on the market.

Better heat properties than a baking stone

High heat is crucial for creating delicious bread with a crispy crust. A baking steel made of carbon steel absorbs heat 18 times better than a regular baking stone, retaining the heat even when you place cold dough on it. The results are evident both visually and in taste.
